Downloading Electronic Files from Idyllic Italy

Idyllic Italy's products are electronic files that can be downloaded to your computer. We provide our files in PDF (Adobe Acrobat¹) format which can be viewed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. (Purchases of Idyllic Italy products are made using the PayPal payment service; click here for a description of the procedure.)

After you purchase a product from Idyllic Italy, you will immediately see a window in your internet browser displaying a link to each product you purchased. In the following example a link to 'Favorite Apartment and Villa Websites' is shown.

You will also receive an electronic mail message, for example:

When you click on the "DownLink" shown in blue, you will see the same page in your browser as shown above.

There are two ways to save a copy of the file on your computer:

Follow the directions in the internet browser window as shown in the first figure above.

For PC users, if you choose "Save Target As" you will be asked to choose a location on your computer for the file. After you choose a location, the download will proceed as shown here.

Left-click or double-click on the link to the file in the internet browser window (see the first figure above). The file will be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader. You will then need to choose "Save a Copy" to actually store the file on your computer.

Once you have saved a copy of the file on your computer, you can open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader at any time by double- clicking on the file name.

Note that older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, for example version 4, do not display our files correctly. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, or wish to obtain a newer version, click here.
