For each property in this collection of recommended apartments and villas, we provide a detailed, personal evaluation based on our experience staying at or visiting the property, or the recommendation from a trusted source. We also provide links to each property's website. The recommended apartments and villas are listed in the following order:

The Villa Calcinaia offers two apartments in the recently restored San Pierino farmhouse on its large estate just 1.2 miles (two kilometers) from the center of Greve. Each apartment is spacious, beautifully restored, and attractively decorated. Each apartment has three bedrooms and two baths, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. Together, the two apartments are ideal for a two families or an extended family or group of friends.  The apartment named Pozzo features a very large kitchen/dining room that opens into a pleasant living room, which makes an attractive place to gather.  The setting offers panoramic views from most rooms in the apartments. The views from the large pool are similarly panoramic.  We have rented both apartments and would happily return to either.  They also offer a second property, Le Refie, a restored farmhouse located approximately six miles away in another lovely setting.
